Death March

Music: Steve Bell, Sean Silas & C.G. Ryche | Lyrics: C.G. Ryche
(5:19)

Important Note:

Death March is a song about the steps a tyrannical government took through the passing of laws that led to the killing of millions of Jews in the Holocaust. The song serves to preserve the events that happened to innocent people in Germany under an oppressive government. It also serves as a warning to us as we see similarities in many governments today in direct relation to our freedoms, religion, and rights.

IronWrath is not antisemitic in any way.

 Words to the Listener

It was the year 1988, a significant moment in time when the band IronWrath was formed after the members from another project disbanded. Sean Silas, Steve Bell, and C.G. Ryche chose to move forward with the deep-seated intention of creating new music that would stand for integrity and convey a meaningful message to the world. We strongly declared, "We will never compromise our beliefs or our vision in pursuing this project." Unfortunately, during those early days, we found ourselves lacking both the knowledge and the necessary financing to fully develop what was laid on our hearts at that time.

By 1990, IronWrath faced the difficult decision to disband the project, and although Steve, Sean, and C.G. ventured off to explore their individual musical paths, they remained good friends throughout the years that followed. In a remarkable turn of events, God called the band back together in 2016, facilitated by someone nudging Sean and C.G. through the power of social media. The band re-assembled and attempted to re-create seven songs from the past for an ambitious album, but ultimately faced setbacks, which forced us to pull off the project due to financial hardships.

However, in 2020, God miraculously provided the means for the project to move forward, and we felt a compelling direction from Him that we had never suspected. The band decided to abandon its old songs completely to embark on a new journey armed with the knowledge and songwriting capabilities we had developed over the course of the past three decades. IronWrath would now strive to focus on a more modern voice, one that people could truly resonate with, while passionately highlighting the band's strengths and creative vision.

God had provided everything we needed to execute the ambitious vision He entrusted to us. "Master Storyteller" combines nearly four decades of experience across both the music and film industries, where we painstakingly learned the necessary tools required to approach this project with the seriousness it deserved. It is guided by an unwavering passion to ignite one's imagination and inspire others to pursue their dreams, driven by a commitment to quality and integrity, ensuring we never settle for anything less than our best.

Master Storyteller is the album we had always dreamt of making, and now you hold this cherished creation in your hands. We thank you sincerely for your unwavering support and hope that our labor of love not only blesses you but also honors Him in every note and lyric!
